Event Terms and Code of Conduct
Last updated: October 8, 2026
These terms apply to tickets for events hosted by Mountaintop Cyber, a trade name of Mountaintop Cyber Solutions, LLC (an Idaho limited liability company), including Cyber Climbers (February 2027). They supplement our Terms of Service.
Tickets and deposits
- Tickets are priced in US dollars (USD). A ticket may be reserved with a deposit; the remaining balance is due before the event. We will email ticket holders instructions for paying the balance.
- A ticket admits one person. Tickets may not be resold for profit. If you cannot attend, contact us and we will try to transfer your ticket to another person at no charge.
- Event details, including the date, venue, schedule and speakers, may change. We will email ticket holders about material changes.
- Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. If we cancel an event, ticket holders receive a full refund of amounts paid.
Your participation
- Attendees take part at their own risk. Some events may involve physical activity or travel. You are responsible for your own health, safety and belongings and for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you.
- Minors may attend only if the event description says so and a parent or guardian is present.
- We may photograph or record events for promotion. If you do not want to be included, tell a host on arrival and we will make reasonable efforts to respect that.
Code of conduct
We want a welcoming event for everyone. Attendees agree to:
- Be respectful. Harassment, discrimination, threats, and unwelcome conduct of any kind are not tolerated.
- Respect privacy. Do not record, photograph or share personal or company information about others without permission. Discussions are for learning; do not publish others' confidential or employer information.
- Stay within the law. Do not scan, probe or attack any network or system at or around the event, including event and venue networks, without written authorization.
- Follow venue rules and the reasonable instructions of hosts and venue staff.
We may remove anyone who violates this code from the event. If we do so for a serious violation, no refund is due.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Mountaintop Cyber is not responsible for loss, damage or injury arising from your attendance except as caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct, and our liability is limited as described in the Terms of Service.
